Pastoring the young people at Cleddau Community Church involves the following;

Being a friend,
Giving support,
Being encouraging
Being respectful to them.
Being non-judgmental
Giving godly advice
Praying with and for them
Give them some stability in their lives

We would like to see the young people growing into the full life that God gives, and then in turn showing others what God has to offer.

We encourage our young people to get involved in as many activities within the church as possible, whether this is part of the IMPACT drama team, or as part of the God's Gang puppet team.

Young People's Group Vision Statement

Our mission as youth leaders:

To provide a safe and secure environment for the youth to learn about God, to support and guide them in their Christian walk, education and to encourage their social well-being.

Our purpose as a group:

To know God:

[Jeremiah 31:33-34; John 17:3; Romans 8:29; Philippians 3:10] Our priority is to develop a close and passionate relationship with God in all we are and do, and be changed into Christ’s likeness.

To grow together:

[Ephesians 4:11-16] We are committed to grow in maturity and unity, deepening our relationships with one another, and within the whole church of God, developing true expressions of community.

To reach others:

[Isaiah 49:8-12; Isaiah 58:6-7; Luke 4:18-19; Luke 5:30-32] Through Christ’s love, we are committed to reach others with the gospel, especially those who are separated from God and without hope, those who are hurt and feel unloved by society, and to share ourselves with them, both spiritually and materially.

Our goals as a group:

To encourage everyone to: Understand and live by God’s Word, the Bible
Have an effective prayer life
Become witnesses of God’s love/salvation
Praise and worship God
